2015 Veterans Day Program and Parade
Taylorsville Hosts Veterans Day Events
Taylorsville City and United Veterans Council will host the 2015 Veterans Day Parade and Program on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in Taylorsville. The public is welcome to attend!
The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Valley Regional Park (5100 S. 2700 W.) and ends at Taylorsville City Hall (2600 W. 5325 S.). See taylorsvilleut.gov for parade applications.
Following the parade, at 12:15 p.m., there will be a program at the Taylorsville Veterans Memorial on the south side of Taylorsville City Hall.
In addition to the parade and program, Flags of Honor will be set up south of Taylorsville City Hall. This is a memorial to fallen soldiers in Utah who lost their lives in recent wars. One flag is flown for each fallen soldier and WWII and Camp Kearns will also be present.
Veterans Day Parade Route
Those residents living off of Harvey Heights Drive (2460 West) will have the ability to travel eastbound out of the subdivision during the parade. No westbound traffic will be allowed beyond that point during the parade.
