Taylorsville City and Unified Fire Authority announce a six-week CERT training course (Spanish). Classes will be Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18, Dec. 2, 9, with a disaster simulation Dec. 12. Cost is thirty dollars per person (includes helmet, vest, first aid gear and textbook). Participants should bring safety glasses, gloves, and sturdy work boots.
