Taylorsville City and Unified Fire Authority announce a six-week CERT training course (English). Classes will be Oct. 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19, Dec. 3, 10, with a disaster simulation Dec. 12. Cost is thirty dollars per person (includes helmet, vest, first aid gear and textbook). Participants should bring safety glasses, gloves, and sturdy work boots. Pre-registration for CERT courses is required and must be done online at www.unifiedfire.org or contact UFA at 801-743-7150 or email communityassistance@ufa-slco.org.
