The Healthy Taylorsville Community Health Fair, is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Taylorsville High School, 5225 S. Redwood Road. The fair is sponsored by Taylorsville High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), in partnership with Intermountain Healthcare, Jordan Valley Medical Center, and City of Taylorsville. The fair focuses on physical and mental health, as well as emergency preparedness.
Free cholesterol, blood pressure, bone density and diabetes screenings, child fingerprinting kits, car seat safety, Life Flight, identity theft, K-9 demonstrations, emergency preparedness ideas, and other health presentations will be featured, as well as hourly drawings, including donated bikes.
