The City of Taylorsville contracts with various public agencies and private companies for most of the municipal services provided to Taylorsville residents and businesses. This helps keep City costs and taxes low. Because of this, the City has a small staff of full-time and part-time employees in addition to a full-time Mayor and five part-time City Council members.

Part-Time Senior Accountant

The City of Taylorsville currently has an opening for the position of Senior Accountant. A Bachelor's Degree in finance, Public Administration, or related field is highly desirable. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience with budgets and finance is required. The position assists in the development and preparation of the overall City budget. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, City Administrator, and department heads. This is a part-time position without medical benefits. Salary Range: $21.69-$32.54 Hourly DOQ.
