A live, simultaneous fireworks show in all 29 counties, including at Valley Regional Park in Taylorsville, will take place on Monday, Jan. 4.

It's part of a statewide celebration of the 125th anniversary of Utah’s statehood. Taylorsville also celebrates its 25th anniversary in the new year.

The fireworks can be viewed at 7:30 p.m., and the celebration is COVID safe — people are encouraged to watch the fireworks from a distance, in their cars and their front- and backyards.
