Tonight's Starry Nights @the Plaza event features a mix of classic rock 'n' roll from the band Code Blue Revival and an outdoor movie, in addition to the food trucks.
It's what's happening at Centennial Plaza, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., on Friday, Aug. 22. The food trucks arrive at 5:30 p.m.; Code Blue Revival will play on the Centennial Plaza stage in front of City Hall at 6:30 p.m., and the movie "Mufasa" begins at 9. Code Blue Revival has has been performing for nearly 30 years together. The band consists of five members, John Diehl, Mark Milligan, Doug Pierce, Gary Bullock and Mark Broadway. Each member has a career outside of the music group but it is in their music where they find their connection and passion. Their classic rock cover repertoire includes songs that span three decades. The Starry Nights event, including the music and movie, is free so bring your friends or family for an evening out together on the plaza! Look for something happening every Friday night on the plaza through Sept. 26.
