On this anniversary of 9/11, we remember those who died on and as a result of that tragic day and honor the heroic acts of so many.

Almost 3,000 people lost their lives during the attacks at the Twin Towers, Pentagon and aboard United Airlines Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001.
