Tonight's Starry Nights @the Plaza event features live music from Pop-O-GoGo and the Public Safety Committee's Night Out Against Crime, in addition to the Food Truck League food trucks. 

It's what's happening at Centennial Plaza, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., on Friday, Aug. 7. The food trucks arrive at 5:30 p.m., the Night Out Against Crime starts at 6, and the band is on the Centennial Plaza stage in front of City Hall at 6:30 p.m. Go to thefoodtruckleague.com for the lineup of the food trucks that will be there. Pop-O-GoGo brings the best of the 1960’s pop to the stage; think Austin Powers. Pop-O-GoGo is among Pop Orchestra's many performers. The band promises the grooviest tunes, best dance moves and plenty of funk for all ages. Listen to a sample of their music here.

Also enjoy Taylorsville's Night Out Against Crime, featuring various activities and information booths from public safety agencies and other partners. Learn ways to keep your neighborhood safe and have some fun, too. 

The event is free so bring your friends or family for an evening out together on the plaza! Look for something happening every Friday night on the plaza through Sept. 25.
