The Vietnamese American Community of Utah (VACU) will host a cultural commemoration on Saturday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at 1769 W. Carriage Square in Taylorsville.

The event will include the King’s Death Anniversary and the Black April Commemoration, honoring the Hung Kings, the founders and first kings of Vietnam, and marking the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975. The program will feature stories from community members about their journeys, or their families’ journeys, to the United States and their accomplishments today.

A light lunch will be served.
