The new MVX bus rapid transit system through Taylorsville officially launches on April 28, and the community is invited to a brief program hosted by the Utah Transit Authority, with local elected officials and community and business partners. A ceremonial Ribbon Cutting will follow.

Free parking is available for the event at Murray Central Station. Look for UTA parking signs with directions to the gathering in the southwest corner near the bus loop. Attendees may also take TRAX or FrontRunner directly to Murray Central Station, 5144 Cottonwood Street.

MVX is a 7-mile bus rapid transit line that runs along the 4700 South corridor, connecting West Valley Central and Murray Central stations. The line will be free to ride through April 2029. The project was made possible through a grant from the Federal Transit Administration, with additional financial support from the state of Utah and local partners.
