Tonight's Starry Nights @the Plaza event features the Food Truck League food trucks and music from local rock band The Groove.

It's all happening at Centennial Plaza, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., on Friday, May 22. The food trucks arrive at 5:30 p.m., and The Groove will play on the Centennial Plaza stage in front of City Hall at 6:30 p.m. Go to thefoodtruckleague.com for the lineup of the food trucks that will be there. The Groove plays a mix of dance-oriented music, featuring old school R&B, funk, soul, classic rock and popular hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. They are a cover band with high-energy and sentimental sounds. Listen to a sampling of their music here.

The event is free so bring your friends or family for an evening out together on the plaza! Look for something happening every Friday night on the plaza through Sept. 25.
