A Truth-in-Taxation hearing has been set for Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd.

The public hearing is being held to receive comment on a proposed increase to property tax revenue. Under the proposal, the tax on a $498,000 residence would increase from $224.32 to $235.55, which is $11.23 per year.
