Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and valued. That belief is at the heart of Inclusive Minded Counseling & Consulting, which has opened a new center in Taylorsville to provide trauma-informed therapy in both Spanish and English.
The business celebrated its new location at 5204 S. Redwood Road with an open house and Ribbon Cutting on Aug. 11, joined by city officials and representatives of ChamberWest.
Owner Martha Lilia Soto Ceballos, a multilingual trauma therapist, founded Inclusive Minded Counseling & Consulting five years ago in the basement of her home. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she needed a way to support her family while also helping others through uncertain times. “We were lean but kept growing,” said Soto Ceballos, who has practiced as a family counselor for 12 years.
The business later moved into a music studio before opening its first brick-and-mortar office this month. Inclusive Minded Counseling & Consulting has now grown to seven therapists, almost all of whom are bilingual. Along with individual therapy, the practice offers professional consulting, group therapy and public presentations.
“Our mission extends beyond therapy,” Soto Ceballos said. “We strive to educate, empower and advocate for equity in mental health and substance use services throughout Utah. We’re here to support your journey toward healing and growth, because everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and valued.”
Taylorsville Mayor Kristie Overson praised the business during a recent City Council meeting. “We were so happy to support them and cut a ribbon along with ChamberWest,” she said. “We love to see new businesses in our city, and we are grateful for Inclusive Minded Counseling & Consulting’s commitment to not only helping those in need of their services but also providing equity in mental health.”
