Sweet Family Ties Brings Homemade Flavor to Taylorsville

Open for Business

Sweet Family TiesThe smell of warm cinnamon rolls filled the air as community members gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Sweet Family Ties, located at 3145 W. 5400 South. The new bakery officially opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting event joined by ChamberWest representatives and Taylorsville City officials.

Sweet Family Ties specializes in homemade cinnamon rolls and baked goods made from scratch. The shop’s menu features favorites like the Classic Cinnamon Bliss and Maple Pecan Dream, along with rotating seasonal flavors such as Pumpkin Spice Swirl and Chocolate Hazelnut Twist. Each roll is baked fresh daily and topped with the bakery’s signature creamy frosting.

Guests at the Sept. 27 ribbon cutting enjoyed samples and a first look inside the cozy storefront. Owners said their goal is to create a welcoming space where customers can enjoy simple, homemade treats that bring people together — just like family.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Sweet Family Ties to Taylorsville,” said Mayor Kristie Overson. “Their creativity and commitment to quality add something wonderful to our local business community, and we’re excited to see them grow.”

ChamberWest representatives also recognized the bakery’s addition to the city’s growing business landscape. With its friendly atmosphere and made-from-scratch menu, they noted, Sweet Family Ties is expected to be a favorite stop for anyone craving a taste of something sweet in Taylorsville.

Sweet Family Ties is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit their website to view the full menu, place orders online or learn more.
