Taylorsville Welcomes Ooh Pho: A Taste of Southern Vietnam

Ribbon Cutting

Ooh Pho OpeningTaylorsville residents now have a new destination for bold, comforting flavors. Ooh Pho, an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, officially opened its doors on Nov. 7 with a Ribbon Cutting attended by city officials and ChamberWest.

Ooh Pho prides itself on crafting every dish with fresh ingredients and a dedication to tradition. Their menu aims to transport diners straight to Southern Vietnam through rich, aromatic flavors.

“We are the first in Utah to offer a traditional hot stone pho bowl and a sizzling dish called Bo Ne," said Jimmy Perry, who owns the restaurant alongside Tung and Jenny Nguyen and Annie Le. "The name ‘Ooh Pho’ comes from the joyful experience of savoring our pho, which is stewed in house for 20 hours to achieve its signature depth of flavor."

Mayor Kristie Overson welcomed the restaurant to Taylorsville, noting the warm atmosphere and enticing aromas that greet every visitor.

“Ooh Pho isn’t just about great food; it’s about creating an inviting space where friends and families can gather and enjoy delicious tastes that make every visit memorable," she said. “We’re thrilled to see this vibrant addition bringing the community together.”

Ooh Pho is located at 4546 S. Atherton Drive and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Learn more and place orders on their website.
