Taylorsville Celebrates the Grand Opening of Utah's First DHL Service Point
Ribbon Cutting
Bright yellow and red signage now marks a new addition along 5400 South as DHL Express opens its doors in Taylorsville, bringing international shipping services to the community.
The business celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting Feb. 5, joined by city officials and representatives from ChamberWest. The Taylorsville location at 3734 W. 5400 South is the first DHL service point in Utah.
DHL Express is a global logistics company operating in more than 220 countries and territories, providing international shipping and delivery services. The new service point offers customers a convenient place to drop off packages for shipment around the world, with staff available to assist with packing and processing.
“It is such a great location, and you can just zip on in there, unload your stuff and they’ll pack it and send it,” Mayor Kristie Overson said at a recent City Council meeting. “It was delightful to meet the business owners and be there for their ribbon cutting.
“Anytime we can cut a ribbon for a new business, it’s a great thing,” she said.
