Perfect Location, Easy to Do Business

Without a doubt, Taylorsville is the place to be for business. Our location, right in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, is perfect for investment and new growth. Both emerging and legacy areas define the community such as the 2700 West Employment Center, which will include the coming Bus Rapid Transit line; Sorenson Research Park, which has available parcels; Utah State University – Salt Lake Center at Taylorsville; the Redwood Road Mobility and Beautification Project from 4100 to 5400 South; the new Summit Vista Retirement Community; and the new Mid-Valley Regional Performing Arts Center.

In addition, the city is engaged in master-planning efforts focused on the city's retail centers, as well as commercial district envisioning and revitalization. Businesses, both large and small, will find a supportive environment and plenty of opportunity in Taylorsville. Please contact us to learn more:

Quick Quack Car Wash Celebrates Grand Opening with Festive Ribbon Cutting

New Car Wash

Quick Quack Car Wash mascot with Mayor Overson and representatives of ChamberWestCars weren’t the only things shining as Quick Quack Car Wash welcomed the community to its newest Taylorsville location with a Ribbon Cutting that doubled as a lively celebration.

City leaders, ChamberWest representatives and Quick Quack team members gathered at 1863 W. 4100 South on March 17 to mark the official opening. Guests enjoyed free sandwiches and drinks, while an artist created caricature sketches for attendees. Adding to the fun, visitors received complimentary white rounded sunglasses, matching those worn by the company’s signature duck mascot.

The new location brings Quick Quack’s fast, eco-friendly car wash experience to Taylorsville. Known for its express exterior washes, free vacuums and commitment to water conservation, the company emphasizes both convenience and sustainability. Quick Quack also offers unlimited membership plans, allowing customers to keep their vehicles clean with frequent visits at a fixed monthly rate.

Beyond its services, the company made an early impression through community involvement. To introduce itself to Taylorsville, Quick Quack hosted a fundraiser benefiting a local family in need and presented a $3,500 donation during the opening festivities.

“It was such a fun event, and we love our Ribbon Cuttings,” Mayor Kristie Overson said at a recent City Council meeting. “Quick Quack Car Wash not only opened its doors to the community in style, but they also made a meaningful contribution by presenting a donation to a local family in need. We’re so happy to welcome them to Taylorsville, and we hope everyone will sail on through to a squeaky clean car.”

Quick Quack Car Wash is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., all week. For more information about services, memberships and hours, visit quickquack.com.
