From craft tables and face painting to snow cones and a child care giveaway, ABC Great Beginnings celebrated its Taylorsville opening with families in mind.
Taylorsville City and ChamberWest representatives welcomed the Utah-based child development center with a grand-opening celebration on June 20. The event included activities for children of various ages, along with a drawing to give away $300 in child care to one family.
ABC Great Beginnings provides early childhood care and education for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. Its programs include child care, before- and after-school care for school-age children, summer programs and extra activities such as puppet shows, magic shows and individual and class portraits.
All ABC Great Beginnings programs are licensed by the State of Utah, meaning each location is in full compliance with health and safety requirements established by the Bureau of Child Care Licensing.
“We are delighted to welcome ABC Great Beginnings to Taylorsville,” Mayor Kristie Overson said at a recent City Council meeting. “Quality child care is so important for families, and this new center adds another valuable resource for parents and children in our community.”
ABC Great Beginnings is open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. at 4579 S. 1175 West. To schedule a tour, call 801-265-2489 or visit the center’s website.
