Important Dates for the CDBG Application Period for Plan Year 2026-27
The application period for Taylorsville City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Plan Year 2026-27 is fast approaching! Please mark your calendars with the following important dates:
Public Needs Hearing: Nov. 5, 2025, 6:30 p.m.
The City of Taylorsville is asking for citizen input to identify future needs. City officials are requesting citizen comments on what the priorities should be for Community Development and Housing activities that will sustain and/or improve Taylorsville.
The Needs Public Hearing will be held in the Taylorsville City Council Chambers (2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd). Written comments will be accepted and can be mailed to the City of Taylorsville Attn: Dina Blaes, Chief of Strategic Engagement, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., Taylorsville, UT 84129, or via email to dblaes@taylorsvilleut.gov.
Application Process
Interested applicants must submit a pre-application and a formal application. Late applications will not be accepted. Potential applicants may contact Dina Blaes at dblaes@taylorsvilleut.gov or 801-955-2024 for any needed one-on-one funding application technical assistance. See the following deadlines and application details:
Pre-Application Period (mandatory): Nov. 5, 2025, to Nov. 19, 2025
The pre-application phase will be completed online using Zoom Grants (www.zoomgrants.com).
Formal Application Period (mandatory): Nov. 20, 2025, to Jan. 6, 2026
