Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program
Comment Period Set on Proposed Annual Action Plan
The City of Taylorsville will begin accepting citizen comments on April 12 for the proposed Annual Action Plan and PY 2026-2027 CDBG and HOME Funding Recommendations.
The Annual Action Plan is an effort to implement the Consolidated Plan and outlines goals, objectives, measurement indicators and projects for each program year. The Consolidated Plan provides a strategy for carrying out the City’s HUD programs and an Action Plan for assessing performance of programs.
A copy of the Annual Action Plan is available for review at Taylorsville City offices (2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd). Public comments are encouraged and can be submitted in writing to Grant Allen, gallen@taylorsvilleut.gov between April 12 and May 12. Any comments received will be considered by CDBG staff when finalizing the plan. Formal adoption of the funding recommendations and Annual Action Plan will occur during the May 20 City Council Meeting.
Please see additional details and the formal notice of the comment period here.
