Thank You for Your Generous Support of the Taylorsville-Bennion Heritage Center
The Taylorsville-Bennion Heritage Center is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Taylorsville and Bennion communities. Housed in the historic former Jones home at 1488 W. 4800 South, the museum tells the story of the area’s early families and the cultural, family and agricultural life that shaped the community from 1848 through 1948.
Inside, visitors can explore period furnishings, historic artifacts, photographs, biographies and other pieces of local history. The Heritage Center also includes a Research Room with information about area families and ancestors, while the surrounding property is home to the Taylorsville Community Garden.
The Heritage Center is supported by the Taylorsville Historic Preservation Committee, whose members volunteer their time to collect, preserve and share local history. The City and committee are grateful for the generous donations that help support the Heritage Center and its mission. Contributions help care for the historic property, preserve its collections and artifacts, and support programs and projects that keep Taylorsville and Bennion history accessible for generations to come.
