See the Sculptures, Take an Art Walk Through Centennial Plaza

Plaza +Art-1Stroll through Centennial Plaza and see the imagination, wonder and beauty created by local and area artists. In all, 22 sculptures comprise the 2025-26 Art Walk.

Eighteen sculptures, that were formally unveiled on Sept. 26, join four sculptures on permanent display at the plaza to make up this latest season's collection.

The sculptures are installed through the city’s Plaza +ART program, now in its fifth year. Visit Centennial Plaza anytime — day or night — to view the sculptures free of charge and see pictures of each of them below. (Click on the arrows to scroll through the pieces and click the titles of each to read details about the sculptures, the inspiration behind them and the artists who created them). You can also follow Plaza +ART on their Facebook page for the latest updates; their feed is displayed at the bottom of this page.

2025-26 Season Display

“The artists have essentially lent the pieces to the city to display for one year,” Mayor Kristie Overson said. “In addition to the generous donors and supporters who made this possible, we also greatly appreciate that the City Council caught the vision of our Plaza +ART program and saw the wisdom of providing funding to bring art to the community.”

The City of Taylorsville and Plaza +ART extend our deepest thanks to this year's sponsors of the program. They include:

  • Intermountain Health

  • The Overson Family

  • Rocky Mountain Power

Plaza +ART was created as a way to bring public art to the plaza, which opened in fall 2021 and connects City Hall and the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center into one community-centric space with its lighted walking paths, outdoor stage, beautiful landscaping and natural amphitheater. The addition of the sculptures creates an exquisite open-air gallery.

The intent is for some of the sculptures to be displayed permanently, while others will rotate through the plaza as additional sculptures are featured. Centennial Plaza is located at 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., in front of City Hall.
