Artist's description of the art piece: "The ocean is built on dreams. For thousands of years, the binding human experience has been dreams. Dreams of a better life, a brighter tomorrow, what lies beyond the horizon, of leaving behind hard times.

"We lie awake, trying to go back to them. We fight and sacrifice for them. Our dreams have echoed across time and made waves across the world. Dreams have led billions to relentlessly journey. Nothing carries Humanity, quite like a dream."

Dream Artist - Byron Ramos

Artist's bio: Before he became an artist, Byron joined the Army. A first generation Mexican/Guatemalan American, he started his artistic journey while in Army Special Forces by taking photos as a hobby.

However, Byron soon found a special affinity for merging the idea of stone with the sea. While he is still a photographer, instead of a soldier's rifle he now wields a hammer and chisel.
