Artist's description of the art piece: "A defiant harmony of nature and stone, the sculpture captures a gnarled tree rising boldly from a jagged rock. Roots clutch the stone like ancient fingers, weaving life into lifelessness.
"The trunk twists skyward, weathered yet unbroken, its leaves whispering resilience. A poetic union of strength and vulnerability, it speaks of endurance — how even in barren places, beauty can take root and reach for the heavens."
Artist's bio: Deveren B. Farley was born Feb. 29, 1984, in Stanford, Calif. He was first introduced to welding in high school.
Shortly after graduating, Deveren moved to Utah and started a railing business with some home decor work on the side. In his spare time he started to create his fine art by recycling discarded and scraped metal, to create new pieces of art.
Everything Deveren creates is custom done and no two pieces are alike. Find additional details about Deveren and his work online at deverenbfarleyart.com
