Artist's description of the art piece: "Presence: Watching my granddaughter at the apex of a cartwheel one day, I realized it was a moment of complete presence.

"She was fully committed to the moment and the motion. In fact, she seemed able to do them over and over all day long without a thought or care. I wondered how many moments of pure presence one can have in a day?

"May we make a point of being present with those around us. May I practice being more present in more moments and in more ways each day."

Artist's bio: A lifelong Utah resident, Nate began his artist journey behind a Cannon F-1 at the University of Utah, School of Fine Arts. In a foundational 3-D sculpture class, he fell in love with the heat, light, grit, grime, flexibility and permanence of welding steel.

His journey continues today and his work is primarily “to keep HUMANITY in the equations of business and noise of daily living. He hopes to create dialogue. Even, if it only within one’s self. Art creates unity, peace and connection.
