Exiting after the Friday and Saturday Fireworks Shows

Taylorsville Dayzz Traffic Alert: Fireworks celebrations will be held on Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28, for Taylorsville Dayzz and we want everyone to have fun and safely enjoy the shows. With that in mind, please be aware that following the fireworks, egress traffic will be divided at Valley Regional Park, located at 5100 S. 2700 West.
  • Traffic from the Recreation Center and north, will be directed to 4700 S. 2700 West (see map #14 below).
  • Traffic leaving Valley Regional Park and south, will be directed to 5400 S. 2700 West (see map #3 below). Please note, both sides of the roadway will be for southbound traffic. You can choose to go east or west on 5400 South only.
In addition to the Taylorsville Police Department's efforts, the Utah Department of Transportation will be assisting with traffic control and traffic signal timing to help maximize vehicle traffic leaving the area.
 
Please be alert and safe. Be mindful of pedestrian traffic. Follow the police officers' directions and exercise patience. Have fun and be safe!
