50/50 PROGRAM

The City of Taylorsville has created the 50/50 program to help residents offset the cost of replacing drive approach or sidewalk in front of their home.  Under the 50/50 program, the city will pay for half of the cost of replacing eligible sidewalk or drive approach. If you wish to participate, please contact the Public Works Inspector to arrange a time to discuss your project.

STORM DRAIN/CURB AND GUTTER

As part of the Stormwater Management Program, the City of Taylorsville replaces thousands of feet of curb and gutter every year.

EXCAVATION PERMITS

If you are going to do ANY work in the public right of way, you will need to first obtain an excavation permit. The permit cost is $266 and a bond is required. The bond amount is determined by the Public Works Inspector or City Engineer when reviewing the application, with the minimum bond of $1,000. Currently, the city will only accept irrevocable letters of credit, escrow or cash bonds.
