Garbage Pickup

The City of Taylorsville partners with Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District for pick up and disposal of solid waste.

If you experience problems with your pickup, please contact Wasatch Customer Service Center at 385-468-6325 during business hours. Their office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 p.m., and their phone lines are open from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Holidays

Collection for these services occurs every Thursday, except for New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Wasatch Waste & Recycling District offices will also be closed on these days. Trash collection will resume the Friday following a holiday.

Landfill Vouchers

Residents can request a landfill voucher for a load to the Salt Lake Landfill or Trans-Jordan Landfill. Visit WFWRD for more information about how to request a landfill voucher QR code or have one mailed to you.

Antifreeze, Batteries, Oil, Paint, Pesticides and Chemicals are hazardous materials that should be taken to either:

Neighborhood Cleanup

The City of Taylorsville rotates with other cities in Salt Lake County for its Neighborhood Cleanup trailers. If you are in need of a garbage trailer before the scheduled date you can reserve a trailer for use.

3. Email completed forms for Green Waste Trailer or Bulk Waste Trailer.
